Biology is currently experiencing a golden age of research-driven discovery and the undergraduate curriculum aims to expose our students to exciting new fields of knowledge while also providing opportunities for obtaining valuable hands-on research experience.
The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology offers both concentration courses and courses for non-majors, including courses that fulfill LS&A distribution requirements. EEB, along with Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB), administers the Program in Biology as well as undergraduate concentrations in biology, general biology and plant biology, the interdisciplinary concentration in microbiology as well as the academic minor in biology.
EEB offers a concentration in ecology and evolutionary biology as well as the EEB academic minor. In addition, the department participates in the LSA/SNRE Program in the Environment concentration.
