The Record: Twelve U-M faculty members named as AAAS fellows
Two of those 12 University of Michigan faculty members are Professors in our own department: Aimée Classen and Lacey Knowles.

Dr. Aimée Classen, an ecosystem and global change ecologist who explores how ecological interactions influence the atmosphere’s carbon cycling process, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences.

The University of Michigan is credited for providing renowned resources for its students and University community, as well as hosting many impressive museums open to the public. .The U-M Museum of Zoology, the Herbarium, the Museum of Paleontology and the Museum of Anthropological Archaeology are not open to the public, but serve an important role in the research produced at the University and in the storage and preservation of their collections.
